Pumpkin Spice Cake ingredients
Cake
- 5 tsp vanilla
- 5 cups pumpkin puree
- 5 cups white gran. Sugar
- 5 cups milk
- 3 tbsp instant coffee granuales
- 5 cups all purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- ¼ tsp all spice
- Pinch of salt
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup melted butter
Cream frosting
- 8 oz softened cream cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream then ¼ cup heavy cream
- 5 cups confectioners sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Now pay close attention:
- Preheat oven – 350 , Line 2x 8 inch cake pans
- In bowl- Mix- butter, eggs, vanilla, puree, sugar, flour, spices, salt, baking powder, baking soda, instant coffee.
- Mix and whisk this until well combined. Divide batter and put in pans.
- Bake 45 Min. then let cool!
- Frosting time- Add cream cheese and cream to bowl and whisk.
- In separate bowl, add 1 cup heavy cream, vanilla, confectioners’ sugar- whisk this until peaks form. Add the mixture from step 5 to this and mix.
- Assemble cake- split layer to make 4 layers. Use lots of frosting between layers then garnish.
