Here are the ingredients to make this delicious recipe!
Pastry Cream ingredients
- ½ cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- Pinch –salt
- 2 cups milk
- 4 yolks
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp espresso
Now pay close attention:
- Mix all dry ingredients in bowl then whisk in milk, yolks and whisk more!
- Add butter and boil for 1 min on medium heat in saucepan.
- Add vanilla and/or espresso flavoring!
- Strain if you want to get rid of lumps.
- Pour into pan to let cool then chill for 1-2 hrs.
