  • 375g soft unsalted butter
  • 330g soft dark brown sugar
  • 225g black treacle (or molasses)
  • 75g golden syrup
  • 6 large free-range eggs
  • 375g self-rising flour
  • 5 tbsp ground ginger
  • 3 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 & ½ tbsp soured cream
  • 8 nuggets of stem ginger chopped
  • 150g soft unsalted butter
  • 240g cream cheese
  • 840g icing sugar sifted -For Drizzle
