Creme Caramel

Here are the ingredients to make this delicious recipe also known as Flan!
Crème Caramel Ingredients:
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp grand marnier
- ½ cup crème fraiche
- ½ cup milk
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1 large egg
Now Pay Close Attention:
- Preheat oven 325, spray with vegetable spray – 4 ramekins and place in casserole dish.
- Add ½ cup sugar, in small skillet and let it melt over stove on low-medium heat and stir/swirl. Remove when melted and brown – Making some caramel syrup here!
- Quickly Add caramel syrup into 4 ramekins
- Add egg/yolks in bowl with salt and sugar, whisk until frothy!
- Spoon crème fraiche into egg mixture, add vanilla, milk and grand marnier. Whisk till smooth!
- Add to ramekins, Fill 2/3- ¾ full.
- Fill casserole with hot water until halfway up ramekins. Place in preheated oven
- Bake 50 min.
- Remove with tongs from the casserole and put on cooling rack.
- Unmold by placing a small plate over ramekin then invert ! Easy! Chill to serve.
