Chocolate Layer Cake

Here’s How to make this delicious recipe!
Cake Ingredients:
- 9 Eggs
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/3 cup dark cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
Chocolate Syrup:
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup cream
For Buttercream:
- 2 cups butter; softened
- 1, 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Now pay close attention:
- Preheat oven to 350. Line pan with parchment paper
- Mix eggs and sugar for cake into bowl. Whisk for 10 min. Add Vanilla.
- In a second bowl, add flour, baking powder, cocoa powder. Add this into egg mixture. Mix well!
- Divide cake batter between pans. Bake for 20 minutes.
- For Frosting: Mix softened butter with a whisk for 5 minutes. Slowly add condensed milk, whisk as well! Then add cocoa powder + vanilla. Mix thoroughly.
- For syrup: Microwave heavy cream until hot. Add in chocolate chips, add 1 teaspoon of gold rum.
- Assembly time! Soak each layer with syrup, frost with buttercream. Frost the top and sides. Refrigerate cake when done!
