Here are the ingredients for this tasty recipe…
Filling
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 6 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 7 egg yolks
- 3 cups whole milk, do not use anything less than whole milk
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract, or vanilla bean paste
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
1 pie crust!
chocolate layer
- 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
