Basket Weave Cake

Basket Weave Cake

• 2 cups unsalted butter
• 3 tbsp heavy cream
• 1 tsp vanilla
• Dark cocoa powder
• Yellow food coloring
• 8 cups confectioners’ sugar
• Fresh fruit

Now pay close attention….

1. Prepare any kind of cake! Smooth the sides of the cake
2. Make buttercream. Put butter in bowl and whisk. Add cream, vanilla, cocoa, and food coloring.
3. Then Add confectioners sugar.
4. Add cocoa powder to change color if you want.
5. Whisk until desired consistency
6. Using flat spatula apply layer to sides
7. Use #5 tip and add vertical lines, then use a #48 tip and add detail of the weave.
8. #4ft tip for edges!
9. Now add fruit for detail.
