Butterscotch Pudding

Here are the ingredients to make this delicious recipe!
Butterscotch pudding Ingredients:
- 2 ¾ cups whole milk
- ¼ cup cornstarch
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- ½ tsp salt
Now Pay Close Attention:
- In bowl – whisk together sugar, corn starch, salt, egg yolks, egg. Add in ¼ cup milk until paste is thick. Set aside, and heat milk. Use a strainer over bowl.
- Pour remaining milk into saucepan and barely boil. Pour hot milk into egg mix and whisk. Pour pudding back into saucepan and place over med-low heat. Cook and stir! – until is thick! Probably 5 min. Remove from stove, strain, and whisk in butter and vanilla extract.
- Pour into bowls or wine glasses then can be served warm or chilled!
