Victoria Spongecake


Here are the ingredients to make this delicious recipe!

Victoria Sponge cake Ingredients:

 

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1.5 cups self rising flour
  • 1 jar of strawberry jam
  • 3 tbsp milk
  • 8 oz of milk
  • Icing sugar
  • strawberries

 

 

Now Pay Close Attention:

  1. Preheat oven 350, grease butter two round cake pans.
  2. Mix butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla then mix till smooth!
  3. Add to springform pans, bake for 20 min. Then let cool
  4. Whip the cream. Use the jam on the bases before adding cream then sprinkle with icing sugar and add the strawberries on top!
  5. Use a star tip and frost the rest of the cake!
